Thanks. I'm hoping to get the right balance between sexy romance and humour. :-)

The only true advantage to digital over print is space. I should have just moved myself into a library. :oP

I take note of genres but then I read all genres -- see what I mean about SPACE! LOL.

I doubt print books will ever go out of fashion, unless we run out of trees. I don't see e-books ever making a huge impact, no one I know even know what e-books are, and every time I say to them I read novels on my computer - they ask what don't I just buy a book, lol.

Well, I always take note of the genre. I wouldn't read anything without knowing what genre it was.

You know I just read a book from my father's collection in a nice plain leather embossed cover. I read your comment and just had to laugh. Covers are important and even with an ebook you need an overall effect. I like both mediums but hope print never goes out of fashion. I like the tactile aspect of a book and some books are lovely to hold.

I have to admit the only people I've read are Changeling are writers I either know in 'real life' or are acquainted with online and I have taken much notice of the genre. It's a good market for any shorter works, although I don't tend to write many of those in romance.

Of course that is understandable, but even at that Changeling (for me) do take the cake with their covers.

It just seems so, because every time I visit the site, it is always a paranormal story. All I've ever read are paranormal stories (i.e. Kate Steel, Jordan Price and Willa Okati are all paranormal).

I do know what you mean but I it was something I had to accept going in so to speak. Having read a couple of wonderful books with dreadful covers I'm on the fence. The fact is good covers (and I admit Loose-Id are very good with theirs) are expensive. The publisher pays an artist before they make a penny and may in rare cases not even make back the price of the cover. Changeling are offering writers the option to have a photograph cover but that's much more involved than just leaving it to them to get on with it and for short work (which is all Changeling do) I don't have the time to spare.

And no, they don't just publish paranormal. They have a wide range. I also already know many of the writers there so received a great welcome. Thanks on the congrats.

As someone who judges the book my its cover...Changeling Press covers give me nightmares. At least Jordan Castillo Price has done well with her covers.

Congratulations on the new submission. Does the publisher only publish paranormal stories?
