Glad you brought up self-publishing. I think sometimes readers assume authors go for self-publishing because they can't find a publisher willing to put out their work. This isn't always the case. It's something I want to blog about. Sometimes there isn't a suitable publisher or a publisher doesn't know where to slot a book. Everyone thinks writing a book means if it's a good story or well written it will automatically find a publisher but many books are turned down for marketing reasons that have nothing to do with the writing. That may sound strange to some but it's true.

Ah...now print versus 'e' is also something I have to blog about. LOL. Right now I can only say it depends.

If a publisher doesn't suit, there is always self-publishing as well. I think Jordan Castillo Price has done a great job in that department. It's good you're staying true to yourself though. These het titles, will they put through e-publishing as well? Or maybe through a print publisher? The latter I'd definitely go for ;)
