Just 75 Words

Posted by Sharon on September 15, 2009 in News, Writing |

If a picture can tell a thousand words, how about a paragraph telling a whole story?

Check out Paragraph Planet. They take paragraphs of only 75 words complete including the title (not as easy as it sounds). As it goes, it’s a small writing credit but was fun to do and this little piece is close to my heart for reasons you’ll understand if you toddle along for a quick read.

Note: you need to check this out today, September 15th, or else you’ll have to flick back through the archive:

I know I’ve been quiet lately but I’ve been working. I’m currently doing personal edit rounds to finalise a couple of manuscripts. I’ve three main publishers now, other projects I want to do, a right wrist that has a mind of its own and doesn’t always want to co-operate and a rather strange schedule at home lately. For all of you who haven’t seen me on the loops so much for awhile, I really do apologise: I’ve had several months of pain in my right arm that only now seems to be easing. Trying to type with a wrist support is the physical equivalent of hearing the world through muffled ears I imagine.

Maybe not easy – MAYBE? Quite difficult I’m sure.

But as usual, you brought the emotion to pull a reader right in. One of the things I love best about your writing my dear.

Giggles in modest humble embarrassment as always. Okay, in some things I’m ‘too’ British. I admit it. :-) Thank you!
