I was very surprised where this story took me. The plot rather took me unaware (particularly regarding the sex). Ryanac was a surprise character for me. He was always there to manipulate in the Swithin Chronicles, but I soon realised he was a force of nature who refused to be left behind. For some reason, although there is a little of his perspective in the third Swithin book, "Comet Cometh", he's never spoken to me in a direct way. To write such a vibrant character without getting into his head was a great exercise for me and a learning experience. I've always wanted to write something from Ryanac's point of view, but so far nothing's come of it. I never say never, though! Glad you enjoyed the book. Many thanks for dropping by. Sx Many thanks! I'd really like to see a sequel, there is an awful lot still yet to be resolved by the end of this one.
