Be ‘Marooned’ this coming November!
‘Marooned’ a.k.a. ‘The Sexual Evolution of the Marooned Spaceman’ has been contracted by Changeling.
This was a bit of a shock to me as I actually saw it scheduled for release on November 3rd before I’d even received let alone signed the contract. Just returned some pre-edits — small points we’d agreed on — and now have a very tight schedule where I await the return and try to get edits with my editor done before the 11th. Then it can go to the proofers etc., and they can try to ‘catch’ me during what I have warned them is a very hectic month for me. Yes, I’m quiet because I’m rushed off my feet. Too much going on, especially on the home front, and we’ve been working 14 hour days — not a time in which I needed edits and a book on the way. I must be mad, but then you have to be, to be a writer.
More on the book in a few days, and a few page additions to the website next month when things begin to calm down. Watch this space!
