Everything Else
I could have entitled the page miscellaneous but ‘everything else’ sounded slightly more frivolous and explained exactly what I have in mind for this page. Below you can see a list of ideas but if any more occur to me, you’ll find them here. Suggestions of what anyone would like to see always welcome.
The Muse

Where do you get your ideas?
I always laughed when an author complained that someone had asked them this question, until it happened to me. The simple reality is that authors get their ideas from anywhere and everywhere. Life is a rich source of writing ideas. Writers are simply people who are unable to connect two or more seemingly disconnected events, something ‘clicks’ and there you have a story. They also play the “What if?” game. Therefore, the only way is to explain by example. If there’s a portion of a book that expresses where my idea came from I will endeavour to give you some examples.
