Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl
Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator by Roald Dahl (yes, there is a sequel)
One Hundred and One Dalmatians by Dodie Smith (yes, it is a book)
The Starlight Barking (sequel) by Dodie Smith
Bambi by Felix Salten (yes, again it is a book and an excellent one)

The Water Babies by Charles Kingsley
Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain (also Huckleberry Finn, but Tom Sawyer was my favourite)
Heidi by Johanna Spyri, and other classics such as Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens, and Treasure Island, Gulliver’s Travels, Black Beauty etc., were all books I read during my childhood — I cannot believe people do not read these wonderful adventures now especially not at a young age.
